Washing isn't necessary until the hair isn't able to style due to product build up. If minimal product is used the hair could go up to 20 uses between washes. That will protect the vibrancy of the colors as well. Professional products always recommended. The more hair is wet or washed the quicker colors will fade. Pleased remove hair and wash separately so colors won't transfer to your hair or clothing. Air drying is recommended. Lay hair flat on a towel to dry.
